how to match transistors?

Hi everyone!

Happy new year first of all! I hope none of you suffered from unwanted bugs 
or other anoying insects :)

Here an obvious question for synth-diy-ers. How do I match transistors? I 
want to build the ARP 4012 filter, so I need to do a lot of matching. This 
is going to be part of an modular syth I want to build, using Moog 
oscillators (921B), ASM oscillators, Roland filters (system 100m, juno), 
Arp filters (4012, 4075), EMS filters, Oberheim filters (SEM) etc. Any 
ideas for VCA's and envelope generators? This project is still in its 
'drawing board'-stage, so if any of you have tips or suggestions please let 
me know.

BTW: what chip is used in the juno 60/106 ? Is it a curtis IC, or a custom 
Roland chip?
