Converting pots!

Hello
iam woundering if anyone knows how to make a "vitrual" pot
becuase i got some slide(?) pots that i would use pot they arent 100k(or 10k) they are 500k and 20k
anyone knows any circut that would act as a pot? so i can use the pots i got
