[OT] About making Docs from Scanned papers..

Sorry for the OT post, but I know some of you have been making .PDFs from
old manuals, tech docs etc. so I was looking for an answer to a quick Q. If
I buy Adobe Acrobat to use for this task, is it a simple task to dump 100s
of scanned pages (.TIFs) into it and have it automatically place 1 per page?
Or is their loads of mesing around to do?
Only asking since if it does this it'll saves me loads of time, if not I'll
perervere with using Word and writing out as Rich Text files, which is a
pain since I have to place and each file individually which means I'll be
here till next yearat this rate.
