MidiVox / Arp soloist mods?

Hello everyone,
one of my friends recently got his hands on an ARP soloist. Are there any
nice mods for it?

And in the january issue of keyboard magazine was a little article about the
MidiVox. Some kind of a dog collar that translates the vocal cord movements
to midi. Any ideas on how this is done?
And more interesting, how can you do this yourself? What happens if you
pickup the vibrations in your neck with a piezzo pickup or whatever can do
it, and use this as the input signal of euh... something?
Or you convert this signal to a control voltage, and you've got one more
extra hand to control the knobs while playing? Anyone tried anything like
this?
