OK...I've learned a bit more about midi and it's starting to look like the
idea of slaving a midi clock to a VC clock is not a very good one...or at
least its not a simple task. Gonna be a matter of tracking down some rare
little synch box and even then it'll be tricky.  Why not just make the VC
slave to the midi? Yeah I'm gonna do that and most of the time it wouldn't
matter but there are differences.


Now I'm thinking about coming from another direction. I have been reading
about some of these new DJ keyboards where you can synch things to the beat
of a recording. Maybe it's some kind of gizmo that tracks the  kick drum
...???

Is this technology available in a seperate box??

Anyone here know about this stuff?
