yes most midi devs will wrk quite well in that respect - you could advance
the seq by a 1/4 note or any other note interval for that matter... but the
tricky bit is to advance the seq to the next programmed sequenced event [ie
note] - assuming that the notes/beats etc aren't prog'd in an even space
apart.. altho knowing this, you could
a: write the seq's to be used in this technique at a set quantize amt ie all
notes are prog'd to be 1/4 spaced... or
b: have presettable seq advance control [ie dial up 1/4, 1/8 etc] and live
with the fact that sometimes when triggered you wont actually get any sound,
or multiple notes.. this one could have some interesting potential....
