Hi, I once added independent in/outs to a Tascam 244 somewhere
around the line/tape selector switch. I recived the schematics for it
when I bought it, but it should not be too hard to find a good point to
tap and just run right out to new jacks. It worked great for me, but
my new mixer, a makie 1202, was so clean and transparent it let me hear
just how bad the 4-t sounded! The built in mixer was so muddy it masked
it pretty well. I had to buy a digital hard disk recorder after that!
