Try disconnecting the analog board......
I had the same problem with my emax and discovered if I removed the analog
board it would boot up. As I have a spare dead Emax, and no service manual,
I decided to do some chip swapping. It turns out it was the AD7524JN dac
that was causing the problem. If I didn't see it with my own eyes I'd find
it hard to believe that was the problem. I'm glad the chips were socketed!!
