setting VCO via MIDI

I've been thinking about this too. (See the page on my midi CV at
www.geocities.com/roelrules/ ,yes, yes, you already know that.)

In the kenton midi cv's and the encore expressionist, this is implemented
with different trigger modes. (single/multpile) In single, the trigger will
not re-trigger if a new overlapping note is played, that is, if a note on is
received before a note off message for the previous note. Multiple always
retriggers when a new note on message is received.

Philip Rees (little MCV) does somewhat the same, but without fancy user
interfacing. Default is multiple and switching the modes is possible by
sending a legato footswitch midi message. (controller number 68, or in hex
44. With value <63=off, >64=on)

I'm thinking of doing both. :-)
Setting a default, AND allowing switching...

Or you could just use pitch bend, and adjust the range to suit your play...
(maybe with sysEx)
