Electronotes and Synth-DIY CD

Ummm, no offense, but every Synth-DIY schematic I have
seen already IS a redrawn Electronotes design. I mean if you
replace the KE4839 FET with two 4066 sections and the
CA3046 with a MAT-02 and the op-amps with TL-082 etc.
It is still Terry Mikulics design for a sawtooth VCO.

The circuit topology is the design. The actual devices
used to build it are just the implementation of the design.

So the magazine served it's purpose. It not only fed
information to the first wave of designers like Don Buchla,
Bob Moog and Serge Tcherepnin (who were all subscribers)
but also to the second wave of designers represented here.

Apparently Bernie is no longer able to follow through on
supplying Electronotes reprints in a timely fashion.
Unless you are prepared to wait years for your copies,
better not send your money.

It is possible Bernie (or his wife) have health problems.
This is not uncommon for people of advancing age.
It is also not the kind of thing you explain to total strangers.
Until the story is known, could we please extend
Mr. Hutchins some Christian charity and not engage in
public attacks on his name.

Thank you.
