voltage controlled resistors

Thats not all. I remember there are(were?) switched resistors arrays
used in the Niche automation; and also this big analog full
automatisized analogue console, that Harold Faltermeier is using, uses
thse switched arrays. Cost per chip were (in the early ninties) about
12$ per chip.

If you take a simple AD chip before the switched resistor array you get
a VC-Resistor.
