:::I second this!! I'd love to see a Synth-DIY CD-ROM, as well as an
Electronotes
:::CD, if anyone can talk Bernie into it. (Hell freezes over first?).

There are basically two perspectives:

One for people that need a library of tested and working designs.

And one that is more about to explain theory, giving extensive literature
hints and giving example circuits as a starter.

I think E.N. has a tendency to the later, that's ok, there
are some brilliant ideas and treatments of difficult topics.

But I guess some people just want to solder some circuit that makes
some noise, foolproof if possible. This would be the first perspective then,
and I think this is not what E.N. was intended to be.

So there is no need to rival, it would be a parallel, independent
thing then.
