Gents,

I posted quite a while ago to this list, offering web space on my
domain for anyone to host a DIY project, and even offer to pay for the
synth-diy domain name as well as provide hosting for *the* synth-diy web
site, etc... Well, that was last year, and a lot of discussion was
generated out of my initial optimism and want to help.
Well, here we are again. More discussion of putting a central
resource of DIY material together, lots of discussion, and all sorts of
intention to get something off the ground. I'm here, and would love to
contribute if anyone can get this thing organized. I still haven't gone
past the splashpage at http://synthmakers.ugwarehouse.org/, namely because
of lack of direction on where to put this together at. I, like Reve here,
would be happy to work on a DIY site, and contribute my experience (and
bandwidth) to this offering as well. To be REALLY detailed, I'll offer the
following things:

1. A web site at www.synthmakers.org to be a home-reference site.
This can include schematics, PCB designs, construction tips, and
all the information that list members want in a general lexicon
   of synth DIY.
2. A FTP site at ftp.synthmakers.org so people can download files, and
   can't access them via HTTP.
2. Project pages for people that have their own DIY stuff going on at
yourproject.synthmakers.org, with 50MB of free web and FTP space.
3. E-Mail addresses at synthmakers for project leaders.
4. Maintenance and web page development time for the main synthmakers
   site.

If anyone's interested in this, just let me know via the DIY list or my
e-mail addy.
