Collaborative design project proposal

Y-ellow Peter 'n' y'all.
	I figure I should nip this in the bud right now. (sorry Bud) We're not
actually talking about CD-ROMing EN. That would be terribly illegal and
would probably see Bernie doing to us what he did to Rick Miller.

I guess if you wanted to buy EN your self and back it up to CD-ROM then
that would be covered by fair use but I wouldn't mention it too loudly. I
get the impression that Bernie is a little protective of the body of work
known as Electronotes.

What we are talking about here is a collaborative effort between SYNTH-DIY
members to put together a CD that is _Like_ electronotes but from Synth-DIY
members. In a `User  Friendly' format which is easy to reproduce and
compact in size.

What we did kinda discuss is that there are probably zillions of articles
in the electronics press which would be of interest to us but sadly out of
print. It would be good to gather all these things up informally on a CD.
Not exactly legal either but...

In other collaborations with others in the recent past I have used
re-writable CDs and shipped them around the world. Each person adding and
subtracting to the data using multisessions till the CD is full. There's
one we use to collaborate musically since we're not spread around the
planet somewhat. Might be a way to go. I'd gladly donate a CD-R/W for that
purpose. But it would be an informal thing.

But the Synth-DIY collaboration CD would probably be the main thrust of
this thread and I don't want anyone, especially his Huchness, to get the
idea there's any piracy going on in these parts. We should have peaceful
co-existence with him I suggest.
