Not exactly cheap, but practical. Aluminum Siding (why to people pronounce
it 'aluminiium'?). I bought a house with aluminum siding and
all my RF (and most AC hum) problems disapeared. No special grounding
needed! It also turns out that since EM waves are phase shifted 180 degrees
by a reflector,  radiation from the AC lines in the outside walls are
cancelled. I have even used unshielded cable for line-level audio without
objectionable hum.
