Hmm. So have I. I have mentioned this kind of idea before privately to
other list members but have always met with something akin to skepticism.
The usual comment is that it is too easily copied. As if photocopying isn't.

Yup. I agree. this would be a dream wouldn't it. If Electronotes are truly
worth it, surely they're worth having in a more, -shall we say- "user
friendly" form?

That's probably a separate issue. You still can't do this legally. Anything
beyond fair use could cause you trouble. Not that it isn't a good idea and
not that it shouldn't be done perhaps?

I just think that we have between us, a Wealth of information that perhaps
should be preserved a little better for posterity. Even if the profits
above costs went to charity. There wouldn't be enough money in it such that
we all get rich from it anyway.

Which begs the question. Does Bernie take all the money?  Or does he
distribute some of it back to all the other people who contributed and paid
their dues over the years?

A collaborative synth-DIY CD-ROM with all our stuff on it would at least
rival Electronotes. Probably be better I dare say. Certainly more friendly.
