Interesting!
I asked because some friend is just building house and studio..
Why is it called drywall? Some moisture protection stuff?
Is this the usual glass fibre isolation stuff which has a thick
alu layer on one side?
US brand names are not known elsewhere.
I thick there are other alu foils , too.
Maybe there is a problem with moisture then, because this stops
normal wall moisture diffusion?

Not only to Wendy.
If I have a test circuit on the bench, it doesn't take very long
leads to get superb AM radio demodulation, there is a sender
nearby. So this is not fantasy, but real noise, creeping into
my audio gear!
