Who was it said, "The camel was a horse designed by committee" ?

Nice idea in principal, but I think it would be very difficult to get
agreement on the features of a 'dream synth' on synth-diy, and completely
impossible on AH.
I think everyone has their own dream synth, and no two will be the same.

The advantage of the modular nature of analogue synths (be they actual
modular synths, or pre-patched) is that you may have a better chance of
establishing a 'design centre' to develop 'dream modules'. Even then, you're
bound to get fundamental arguements.
