Colaborative design project proposal

[Doctor Eternal]

Just a thought... 

If the people on this list and the people on the
Analogue Heaven list (I'm in there too) put their
heads
together, got all their likes and dislikes on paper
(better yet a website, which I'd gladly provide) about
a synthesizer that we'd all like to have (within
reason), we could design it colaboratively; online.
Then, if it looks like something with potential, have
a few of us actually build one or two of them. Now, I
know this is a big undertaking, but there are a lot of
very smart, very talented people on these two lists.

At the very least, even if we didnt actually _build_
one, we could petition a bunch of the major synth
manufacturers with the design and maybe get some
features we want in one of their next synths.

Or we could just all sit on our thumbs and _wish_
really hard for our dream synth... ;)

Anyone willing to give it a go, email me and I'll get
the "design center" site started.
