It depends on how much heat the processor puts out VS the volume of air
inside the box.
You will reach equilibrium at some temperature. If the box lid is easily
opened, a fresh charge of "ambient" air could be added... perhaps at the
same time as the coffee / beer / whatever is added to the artists...

I also don't usually go very long in a session with the computer
running... but if you are doing HD recording I guess that don't work..
