Just to mention, this VCF is at tomg's cookbooksite also for some
time as vcf2b so some people must have build it too
(vcf2e is changed to have vc res).
For some time I thought of making a clone for taurus, adding
expo front end, ditch 4016 preset switches and adding lfo. I thought
part of it's sound were linear VCOs, but they're standard
fet discharge integrators like in asm only they use 3080 for
comparator. I don't know if that matters. The whole system is
simple and has minimum parts in audio chain so that also should
be key to the good sound. I must admit I've never thought about
it's envelopes as contributing to all this, but I guess I was wrong.
