Fan noise madness!!

I don't know about Macs, but Intel processors DESPERATELY need the fan.  Do
NOT disable the processor fan.  Your CPU will overheat in a matter of
minutes from a cold start, or seconds from a warm reboot.  The extra fans
you might have that just blow air through the machine are likely a different
story.  You can get very quiet power supplies and case fans from various
distributers, but I don't know where.
