Feel free to take this OT stuff to my onelist, OLDSYNTH where this type of
discussion is welcomed.
As long as it is related to synthesizers or the use of vintage technology,
or the music or musicians that shape that genre, it is relevant to OldSynth.

Shameless plug is done.

Subject: transgender/missing part
Why do we keep discussing seemingly transgender issues? I'm new to the diy
world, but I got on this mailing list to learn how to make synths and
related projects. Whats the relevance of this Walter/Wendy stuff?
Also something relevant. I just did an order with mouser and couldn't get
part number 140-cd50s2-030J also known as140-50NS-300J in English a
multi-layer ceramic 30pF capacitor. They say they would only put in an
order for some number (1000 or more). I only want 3 for my ASM-1 project.
Any suggestions or guys with parts? I'll try locally as well.
