I don't understand your question. Where does it not work?
What voltages do not change when a key is pressed. Do
you have a scope? Is the oscillator running? Can you see
the output of the CA3080 change. Did you use a CA3080?
I understand not all 3080s ie LM3080 JRD3080 ect... work
you may have to try a few.

A side note here: Of the dual type only JRD or LM 13600s
work JDR or LM 13700s and NE5517s do not.

Anyway can you be a little more specific? Keep your chin
up a ton (huge amount at least 20 ro 30) people have made
this work....keep at it.

BTW..you can get a pcb for $10 bucks...;-)
