FW: modern ribbon controllers anyone ?

I talked to them a few months ago and got nowhere, 
even though the info they sent me showed a nice 
looking ribbon resistance thing. They seemed to have 
no interest in selling at the component level any more. 
Please let me know if anyone has any better luck.
