endwork project midiCV

Next week, I'll finally start REALLY working on my endwork project. (midi
CV)

I'll have 7 weeks starting on monday, to spend 6 days a week on worlds most
promising midi CV ever (my promotor told me it would have to be at least as
good as the commercial models). Since i have no experience at all, and i'm
all on myself doing this project, i really could use a little help.

If there's anyone out there that would like to guide me through it (up to
holding my hand when i'm in front of the jury), that would be just
wonderfull. And any other comment would be REALLY appreciated. If you ever
build a midiCV, what components, layout, anything did you use and why, other
tips and tricks, things i want to build in, things i DON'T want to build
in...
Tell me everything.

I might put on a website to keep you all informed (maybe, if i find the
time).
Otherwise, if you want to help me, i can keep you informed with email. Just
let me know...
