CS-5

Hello again!
I want to control my CS-5 from Paias Fatman. Both synths are using V/Hz,
but there are some problems with the gate. When a sound is played on the
Fatman the gate is +5v, when there are no sounds the gate is 0v.  When a
sound is played on the CS-5 the gate is -3.4v, when there are no sounds
the gate is +1.4v, or something like that.
How do I convert the gate signal from the Fatman? I have inverted the
signal, but how do I lower the v.? There is probably a smarter way to do
this, but how?
