DIY Plastics, for restoring old synths

Our local car accessoriesd place (Motorist Discount Centre) sells 
thermopolastic beads that can be molded with boiling water and then 
set....sharp melt line ie solid at 85 C moldable at 100........JAT..
Several colours too.....you've given me an interesting Idea........
