:::Next step would be to build an external VCA - or use a VCA from a modular
:::system.
:::Then why not also use an external VCF.
:::Now which VCF / VCA combination is most famous for Bass sounds ?
:::You guessed it. I always wanted to build the VCF / VCA part of the Moog
:::Taurus,
:::but now I feel motivated to start the project. The V/Hz VCOs of the CS-50
:::would be a worthy input for a Taurus backend, I think.

I took a look at the taurus schemo @ synthfools (sorry, the resolution
is not so good on my screen, I think it is the scan).
The Taurus cascade uses a 3080 OTA as difference amp.
No feedback, very high common mode voltage (is it a 10, so 10V).
This is different to the mini cascade, e.g..

The vca comes after that, can not see anything spectacular, except
for emitter follower...

Is it these nonlinearities that make that mighty bass?

Is the filter transistor array a 3046/86?

Very hard to decipher...
