OT: CD read/write prob.

Yes, its off topic, but has anyone here experienced
similar problems to what I'm having here. My CD
reader/writer is playing up!!! It refuses to recognise
most audio CDs and most unbranded recording material.
Its not an external CD device, it's in my computer.
I've had now for about a year and a half, it's Mitsumi
( I think, no brand mark) I've probably recorded about
twenty CDs since purchase and now the thing seems to
be giving up. I think that its dust inside maybe or
missing drivers?? I don't know.
Any suggestion would be a great help.
My website is currently being updated with soon to be
audio wavs/mp3s. Also I'm getting together schematics
that I have that I've still to see on the Net. They
will be catogorised as 'resources'. We've added 'chat'
as well and that would be good try out, if anyone
wants to....
