They publish the Loudspeaker Design Cookbook by Vance Dickason--recommended.

Not recommended, because the extreme lows require much more
power than the frequencies above 100 Hz.  Use separate amps, please!

Audiophile practice, typical of the things that tweakers do
"because it sounds better". It can have a very slight
effect, mostly in very low bass and upper freq. detail,
due to lower cable impedance. You can always tell a serious
audiophile speaker, it has two pairs of binding posts for
biwiring. Waste of money, imo. But audiophiles are important
guys, so how dare I criticize them.
