I don't know about the Behringer, but there's a certain American company
with designs that ware remarkably similar to them. The auxes came
pre-configured for just post-fader use, IIRC. But there were some well
documented mods for the boards where you cut a trace, then soldered a little
bit of wire between two pads to change the configuration. I've got their
service note for that mod around here somewhere...about a page of documents,
mostly pictures explaining how to cut traces.
If you look at how those three pads are linked, you'll notice that a SPDT
toggle switch will do the same switching. It'll take come careful work to
put a corresponding hole in the chassis, but it's otherwise straight forward.
I did the wire-jumper version to one of the american boards...be sure you
test that the mod is working before you put all of the stupid knobs back on!
If you're a little nervous about doing the mod with a toggle switch, just
give it a try on a single channel with the wire jumper first. If it doesn't
do what you desire, simply replace the trace you cut.
