I haven't seen these yet, but I wonder if these might be the perfect 
replacement for the DIP switches in the old Blacet Event Arranger module 
(many know this to be one of my favorite modules). This module generates 
numerous synchronized gate and trigger patterns (of a rather long period if 
desired) from a single clock source. John has the article from Polyphony on 
his site. The link is for the Voltage Controlled Clock with Event Arranger. 
Great module! The only thing that I didn't like about it was the switches, 
but the module needs a lot of switches since that is how it's programmed. 
Maybe John will buy these all up and put the module back into production.
