Jim, are those DIP package? The samples I have are
the little SOIC, which are hard for me to deal with.

I'd be interested in 10 if they are DIP. 

Also, I think the DIP and SOIC pinouts are different.
So you can't unplug a SOIC on a header and 
plug in a DIP. I think that's right.
