Four quadrant multipliers:Results of my searching

Well, here is what I have found out....

The only two multipliers that Burr-Brown has listed are the MPY-100
and something else for very high frequencies. The status of the MPY-100
is "Not Recomended for New Designs". Plus, it is not all that low in
price. $15 minimum in 1000's. It seems that Burr-Brown is getting out
of that type of market. The AD633 is in "full production", which for
analog devices at the moment, doesn't mean a whole lot. In 100's the
part is listed at $4.13.

If I can locate any of these little ....... uh..chips, is there
anybody out there who would want any in lots of 10? I would need seven
or eight people who would be willing to commit to getting 10. (that
would be about $43-$45 depending on how much tax and shipping I would
have to pay)
