Pattern Controlled Filter

hey there, i'm definitley planning on a pattern-controlled
filter for my modular, i'll probably include a
pattern-controlled amplifier too, it seems that it would be the
best user interface for what i'm trying to do right now with my
electronic music - which is the end result, right? :] anyway, i
was thinking about gutting an old graphic EQ for the linear pots
<shape, not curve!> and setting it up the same way, higher up is
higher cutoff etc. all you'd have to do is use a mux driven by a
counter to count off the values one at a time, and use the
counter to provide the speed. would work the same way with a
vca. i was also thinking about including another switch to
either hold the previous value or skip each step, so you don't
always have to have 16 <or however many steps> all the time.
hope this helps, l8r..Nick
