DC Restoration??

I would like a simple circuit that can turn an LFO going from -5V to +5V
(from a Mutron Biphase) into an LFO that goes from 0V to +5V to use with a
CV pedal input. If possible, I would like a circuit that can be run off of
a 9V battery, or the 5V output of the pedal input. The latter would be
best.

Someone suggested the following:

>Check out the circuit on the bottom, that's the one you
>want. You need to apply a DC bias to the input signal,
>that's the purpose of the two resistors on the left.
>Keep in mind that the output will be 180 degrees out
>of phase with the input. This could be designed to run
>from one battery. You'll need a bypass cap on the input
>and some low frequency response analysis to confirm
>uniform gain from minimum to maximum LFO frequency.

Would that work?? I'm not sure how to calculate the right values.

Paul Perry suggested that I put a 5V battery in series with the LFO output.
Although that seems like very clever idea, I don't want to have to stock 5V
batteries.

Any ideas??
