depends what you do.. I dont really use any digi chips in analog synth stuff 
[no!], but several digi chips have come in very handy for various other midi 
drivers and un musically related projects.. generally I find it good to have 
a jar full of old logix around, but dont pay much coz you can get them for 
free..
