To some degree I disagree with you Harry, there is the serious
undertone which you touch. The wording etc. is on the fun deparment,
but the serious underline comes from the fact that people do have
concern about certain things.

It is a BAD idea.

There have been worrying signs off the existence of commercialisation
of some DIY members work with these being at least credited. This has
defacto lead some DIY members to clam up, and this is very
unfortunate. It may not be illegal (but can be), but if such rather
direct usage occurs, then it is certainly not on the right line of
acceptable. That someone gets credited is at least where I think the
line to decency goes, if someone also get's some economical
compensation (which migth just be symbolic) then it's on the line of
going right.

Agreed.
Another reason to "clam up" would be that a DIY member has commercial
interest and thus keeps certain information to himself for that
reason. That I find very sad too. Some self-promotion is acceptable in
my mind, but I've seen when it goes overboard according to my measures.

At least you would not admitt to it here ;)
