OT: component search for primary switcher

Hello, 

I've got a defect primary 240/12V switching supply.
The switch seems to be the problem. TO220 case,
it reads C 4106  M6K1.
I couldn't find any matching component.
If it a MOSFET or SCR?

Any hints are wellcome.
