Sorry I didn't chime in earlier...here's my take

Not quite Penn State.  We're just outside of Boston, in Waltham to be precise.

It's a very interesting place to work.  There's a lot of knowledge of
"synths 'n' stuff" in the senior staff...some names you might recognize.
The stuff about needing DSP folks and "highly integrated" hardware people is
absolutely true (but you'll find that in most electronics jobs these days).
