You forgot a few steps, after freezing you tie a long hair or thin thread to
all the insects legs. When it wakes up you have an insect on a tether, or a
"pet". Might be a little challenging for biting insects like wasps. But then
I've always considered a wasp that escaped death via angry peasant "wasted".
(I hate wasps, I love the "pinging" sound they make when batted with an
empty plastic bottle. Out here in the wilderness we wage WAR every summer!)
