hi guys,

my email was down since saturday. i have redrawn the schematic so it's legible
and i intend to fax it to Romeo since he has graciously offered to scan and
post it. it seems the scanner at work is down for good.

now i am really quite confused about the transistors pinouts. the 5172 is ECB
from the flat side and the 5138 is supposed to be the same as the 3906. with
these pinouts the way the they're connected makes no sense at all! the bases
are tied together. i decided to leave big empty circles for the transistors in
my drawing until you guys can help me figure it out. i'm still unsure of the
5138s pinout since it is a completely round package. i'm getting tempted to
desolder it and stick it in my tester so i'll know the pinout without
question.
