RS 20 sec recording module

I found this thing at RS:

http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&category%5Fname=CTLG%5F002%5F001%5F006%5F000&product%5Fid=276%2D1323

It's a tiny little circuit board with a speaker attached to it. Press
the button and it records up to 20secs of sound. Press the other button
and plays back the sound. For ten bucks I thought I would get one to
experiment with.

I started to get some ideas for some projects that would require 10
or twenty of these but at $10 each it would be too expensive. Looking at
the thing it looks very cheaply produced, I can only wonder that RS gets
them from somewhere else, I wonder if it would be possible to order them
from the source?
