modular panel standard??

You might check out the links on http://www.modularsynth.com for active
modular builders. The bottom line is that the front panels are in 1.75"
increments, but heights vary. Widths, mounting screw holes vary also.
The only real standard is that the modules will fit in some sort of
maunfacturer specific mounting system which in turn will fit in any
standard rack mount container or frame.

Stick with +/-15V power supplies for the non tube stuff and I strongly
suggest the Blacet or (equivalent) MOTM (Synth Tech) method of power
supply distribution.
