Alpha Juno 2 mods?

I recently picked up a Juno 2 and have been fixing it up (cleaned out the
ashes, changed the power jack to a standard 3 prong etc..)

>From what I read and looking inside, I gather that it's an hybrid synth with
DCO's. I remember seeing a 5517 inside (that's the filter, right?). It's not
a great synth, as least not as good as my JP-8000, but, as much fun as the
alpha dial is to spin, I'd like to add some real knobs to it for controlling
the frequency and resonance, among other things. Preferably, I'd like to
retrofit it with as many realtime controls as possible as opposed to menu
driven. If anybody's got schematics for it, or knows of any modifications,
I'd love to know about them. (I could reverse engineer it and draw my own,
but that would take time I don't really have right now with my academics)
