Power Supply TO220 vs TO3?

With this much work on the line I'd go to a discrete power supply w/ crowbar
to provide ovp. Don't mess with this unless you're "very" into PS design.



I have about this much on a Serge system and use three discrete supplies
(one for each panel).



You might also put a current meter in-line with a couple modules and get a
better idea of auctual loads, I've seen from 50 to 550 ma / mod.
