Sync/Tempo box

Hi!

You all know me and my crazy ideas
so here is another one for ya.
To set tempo on the 303 is a bitch
considering since you have no display
that shows the acctual BPM. The only
way to solve this today is by syncing it
with for example midi.
However what about building a Tempo box.
Consisting of a clockgenerator which u set
the BPM it should send out. Then have like 
2 or 3 outputs and then you can drive 
2 to 3 old DinSync machines like the TR-606
& the TB-303. And you can set the tempo exact
since you will have a LED on the Tempo Box 
showing it. And you have full sync since it
is the same clock driving them.
And as for midi you could have a midi input 
to the box and that it simply converts it 
to CV like a regular MIDI2CV converter does.
How about this?
Am I totaly crazy?
