5-pin DIN pin numbers

Hi everyone,

I'm building a simple MIDI splitter with an opto-isolator, and I need to know 
the proper  pin numbers on a 5 pin circular DIN connector.  

Also, I'd like to verify the design I used:  On the outputs, it shows to 
connect pin 5 to +5v (with current limiting resistor), and to apply the 
signal to pin 4.  Is this correct?
