Its "wery" anoying.I cant stand it, silent studio
is a neccestiy, otherwise bad music!
Yepp its the high voltage backlight AC transformer
who is rattling. Not only the florucent displays
but odinary LCD wines to.
I have fixed on on my TG77, tok a long time to get
silent, changed the frequency slightely and finaley
drowned the whole transformer in silicon and a piece of
"silent madrass foam".
My friends SY77 was ok with just some silicon
under the transformer, it rattled against the PCB.
I fixed one D50 and a D550 remote controller,
that one was a paticulary pain, to get it silent
i had to remowe the supply to the backlight.
No backlight yepp but what the hech, it was just
a D550 remote.
